How I can support you

You can simply come as you are.

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be navigating something difficult, trying to understand patterns in your life, adjusting to change, or looking for a space that is simply yours.

Anxiety and emotional difficulties
Self-esteem, confidence and self-worth
Identity, culture and belonging
Relationships and family experiences
Life transitions and significant change
Imposter feelings and feeling ‘not good enough’
Loss, grief and bereavement
Parenting and the emotional experiences of parenthood
Caring for or parenting neurodivergent family members
Understanding patterns in emotions, relationships and behaviour
My approach

Therapy should fit the person —
not the other way around.

I work from a Humanistic Integrative perspective, which means that our therapeutic relationship sits at the centre of the work.

Rather than approaching you as a collection of symptoms or something that needs to be “fixed”, we explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion and respect.

Together, we can explore not only what is happening now, but how relationships, early experiences, family, culture, identity and environment may have shaped how you experience yourself and the world.

There is no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what you need. Therapy can give us the space to discover that together.

Hypnobirthing FAQ

Questions before you enquire

Is hypnobirthing only for a ‘natural’ birth?

No. The techniques can sit alongside different birth pathways, pain relief and medical intervention.

Can my birth partner attend?

Yes. Birth partners are encouraged to attend and are included at no additional charge.

What if my birth partner is nervous too?

We explore their practical and emotional role so they can feel clearer and more confident about how to support you.

I’ve had a difficult birth before. Can I still attend?

Yes. We can approach preparation sensitively and focus on what may help you feel safer and more prepared. You do not need to disclose detailed trauma by email.

What if I am planning an induction or caesarean birth?

You can still use birth-preparation and hypnobirthing techniques. A private session can focus on your questions, preferences and emotional preparation.

Does hypnobirthing mean I cannot have pain relief?

No. Hypnobirthing techniques can be used alongside pain-relief options. Clinical decisions should be discussed with your maternity team.
